Arup’s professional journey is marked by his role as a change agent and impact catalyst. As a Director at Margdarshak, he led various livelihood and rural enterprise development projects. His expertise was also sought by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), where he served as a specialist and consultant in countries like Iraq, Ethiopia, Cambodia, and Jordan. His work focused on providing advisory services, promoting investment, and designing robust frameworks for business and enterprise growth.

Beyond his professional life, Arup is an avid traveler and a food enthusiast. He has journeyed to over forty countries, driven by a passion for exploring different cultures, traditions, and cuisines. This extensive travel has given him a unique perspective on the intricate relationship between food, people, and their environment.
